Lift / Elevator Shaft Beam Load Testing
RHC Lifting has vast experience in completing Lift/Elevator shaft beam load testings across the South West of England and in London.
Before commissioning new lifts/elevators the supporting steelworks beams at the top of the shaft need to be load tested to ensure they are suitable to support the lift car or to ensure they are ready for usage in emergencies.
RHC Lifting can also design and manufacture deck eye and mounting plates to attach to the supporting lift shaft monorail beams.
The test will be completed using live test weights, a pull test or via hydraulics, this will depend on site conditions and the test required.
Once tested, RHC will mark the beams, deck eyes and issue certificates.
