We are looking to take on Apprentices in the following disciplines ready to start college in September 2024 and based at our head office in Bristol.


Apprentice Crane Service Engineers (Bristol)

Based at our head office in Yate, you will attend a local college and will complete the Level 3 Maintenance & Operations Engineering Technician Apprenticeship. This apprenticeship will give you the skills and knowledge that you need to excel in maintenance and operations engineering, allowing you to gain a deep understanding of maintenance strategies, fault diagnosis, repair techniques and efficient operations management. 

At the end of your apprenticeship, the aim is for you to become a crane service engineer where you will be visiting customer sites to inspect, service, maintain and repair cranes and lifting equipment. 

To apply for this role you must have 3 GCSEs at Grade 5 or higher including Maths, English and Science or equivalent. Although not essential, a full, clean driving licence will be an advantage.

Apprentice Welder

You will work with our Workshop Team and attend a local college towards achieving Level 2 General Welder.

During the course of the apprenticeship you will:


  • Gain a qualification which will allow you to practice welding in the workplace.
  • Achieve quality of work to meet international standards for dimensional and surface inspection.
  • Position, prepare and check welding equipment.
  • Receive, handle and maintain consumables.
  • Prepare, check and protect materials and work area ready for welding.
  • Complete and check the finished weld ready for inspection and report to the production control system.
  • Ensure that health and safety requirements are adhered to at all times.


To be considered for this role you must have 2 GCSEs at Grade 4 or higher including Maths and English.
