Explosion-proof crane components from SWF distinguish themselves – just like the basic NOVA models – because of their high-performance motors, compact design and approach dimensions as well as their tremendous longevity. SWF EX Product offers many of the same features as the standard equipment.

The products range from an electric chain hoist to a complete wire rope crane kit. The use of modern frequency inverter technology for crane and trolley travelling with an explosion-protected component package ensures gentle transporting of loads and low-wear operation of the crane.

Explosion-proof crane components from SWF correspond to the guidelines according to ATEX 94/09/EG, the regulations of FEM and the European safety standards (EN). SWF EEx-Products are certified within the bounds of design approval (INERIS 03 ATEX 3015 X). 

Manual Lifting Equipment

The CRAFTster EX range is designed to lift loads up to 20,000kg and is built with the same high quality as SWF electrical lifting equipment. The CRAFTster EX range comes with a 12-month warranty. 

The SWF's manual EX range features include:
  • With overload device, slipping clutch
  • ATEX marking: Ex II 2 GD c IIC T4 T+135°C.
  • Suitable for gas & dust hazardous areas: Zone 1+2, Zone 21+22.
  • Galvanised load chain
  • Stainless steel hand chain
