Turbine Hall Overhead Gantry Crane - Order Won
RHC Lifting has recently received an order to design, supply, manufacture and install a 30t double girder overhead gantry crane into a new Energy from Waste plant in South Wales. The new crane with a span of 13.7mtrs will be used in the Energy from Waste plant turbine hall room for maintenance.
The crane includes a service platform on both the crane and crab unit and will also be fitted with a horizontal lifeline.
RHC Lifting has placed an order with the SWF Krantechnik for the component crane kit, with RHC Lifting's in-house design team finalising the design of the crane, including completing stress analysis.
