Height Safety Lifeline Systems
RHC Lifting are improved installer of Capital Safety and Uniline Systems horizontal and vertical lifelines. Using the a unique design software programme, vast experience and assistance of these globally renowned companies offer, RHC Lifting can design a horizontal and vertical lifeline system which:
- Is cost effective
- Offers unparallel safety
- Are practical and functional
- Are a robust designs
And which have the ability to:
- Accommodate multi users
- Accommodate low fall clearances
- Span long distances between supports
- Navigate obstacles, changes in direction and gradient
Depending on your exact requirements, RHC Lifting will draw upon the following products to produce a quote.
The RoofSafe® Anchor can be used for either work restraint or fall arrest and can be installed on standing seam, composite and built up roofing systems and multiple flat roofing and membrane roofing systems. The new RoofSafe® Anchor’s unique energy absorbing system inside the Anchor has reduced the overturning moment on the fixings by half compared to our previous anchor and those of our competitors. This reduction in force enables fewer fasteners, reduces the number of roof penetrations and saves time and money during installations.
The Uni-8 is an 8mm stainless steel lifeline system which can provide a cost effective access solution for walkways, roofs and tunnels. Uni-8 can span up to 12m between support brackets. A high quality product which represents excellent value for money, minimal moving parts and high grade materials ensure long life expectancy, low cost of ownership. It can also support multiple workers for both fall arrest and work restraint applications.
An extruded aluminium rail system, which is a very effective when excessive deflections and imposed loads of wire systems exceed the parameters available at site and in places with limited ground clearance or narrow walkways.
UniRail is cost effective for small fall arrest safety installations, compared to cable solutions, as the system doesn’t require energy absorbing elements and more expensive system terminations. UnRail can be used for arrest and work restraint applications whilst offering a completely hands free experience and to work safely and effectively at height. It can also support multiple workers.
The only globally recognised permanent synthetic lifeline product. The Uni-16 is ideal for specialist fall protection situations, especially when retrofitting a safety lifeline to older structures where connection to steelwork, brickwork or concrete is necessary and a reduction in structural penetrations is desirable. Suitable for multiple users and for both fall arrest and work restraint applications, the Uni-16 can span from 25 to 50m between support brackets.
Vertical fall arrest system are designed to ensure worker remains as close to the structure as possible during climbing. This means that, in the event of a fall, they travel only a very short distance before arresting.
Systems are available for use in the following situations:
- Ladder access
- Mast and pylon access including lattice construction towers and monopoles
- Wind turbine access
- Lighting column access
- Bridge and inclined structure access
