The fall arrest harness prevents damage to the body in the case of a fall. Its design should ensure that the shock is spread out equally across the whole body, so that the risk of injury caused by a fall is completely eliminated. It is fitted with attachment ring allowing the user to be connected to the rest of the height safety system. The harness should be chosen to suit the work that is to be carried out, and should comply with the EN361 standard.

A Self Retracting Fall Arrest Devices (SRL) is a flexible lifeline attached to a mechanism that allows it to extend and retract under slight tension when the user moves away from and toward the device. This enables a user to work safely while moving within a recommended area at normal speeds.
SRL’s can be used in a variety of situations, but are primarily used to provide movement & protection of users in a vertical work area. The SRL should be anchored to a location directly above the user.
With a Vacuum Anchor System at your workers’ side, they can anchor to virtually any smooth, non-porous surface simply by flipping a switch and waiting for the green light. So whether they need to work on a Aeroplane wing, tank, vessel or large steel structure, they’ll always be able to quickly, easily put themselves where they need to be—without putting themselves in danger.
An anchorage is a secure point of attachment for the fall arrest system. The anchorage must be capable of supporting a load of 10kN per worker attached to the anchorage or shall be designed, installed and used as part of a complete personal fall arrest system which maintains a safety factor of at least 2.
Anchorages may be certified (designed or engineered on site for fall protection) or non-certified (beams, trusses or other suitably strong structures). Certified anchorages should be identified with paint or special markings and kept on a site location list.
Each time, before using a fall arrest system, you must make arrangements as to how a rescue operation will be carried out if this is necessary. In the event of a fall, the user may be suspended in the harness and unable to get down without help. The procedure should take account of the working environment, the means at your disposal, and the speed of implementation.
Height safety rescue systems can offer a solutions to this required arrangements and procedures.
Load Arrestors are safety devices used in conjunction with lifting devices, such as cranes and hoists. The Load arrestor provides independent protection that will arrest the fall of a load in the event of the primary system failing and, being completely independent of the primary lifting system, it reduces the risk of equipment damage and protects personnel in and around the danger zone.
